 Two sisters have turned what comes naturally to most women “to organise” in to a growing business.Local business women and sisters, Louise Anderson and Claire Peselj have joined forces to create Personally Organised. The two brought together over 40 years of combined professional experience and a lifetime of organizing to create Personally Organised.
Personally Organised is the latest lifestyle management service designed to make 21st Century living a whole lot easier by providing a Personal Assistant service, available for the office and home in both Geelong and Melbourne.
“I was working for a major retailer in their marketing department as a TV Producer, when one of the managers made the observation ‘I wish I had a PA at home’; this planted the seed. He had the PA in the office but when he went home to his Melbourne apartment, it was up to him. I filed the idea, the when my sister moved to Geelong we started making plans.” states Louise.
“With the business aptitude we had between us, and that natural skill to organise; all we had to come up with was a name for the business”
“Louise and I have lived on different sides of the country working for other people for too long; myself as a PA to a number of high profile, company executives and Louise in media, marketing and TV production. When I moved back to Geelong it felt natural we do something together. We get along so well and our business skills complement each other. It’s not only that we are both achievers, we are not afraid to roll our sleeves up and work hard together” says Claire.
Within 6 months of starting the business Personally Organised has developed an elite clientele, catering for client’s home and office needs. The company offers assistance in a range of areas from domestic maid service, carpet cleaning in homes, to web development, marketing assistance and commercial cleaning for businesses. The feedback we have received from some of our clients has been worth its weight in gold and been instrumental in the rapid growth we have seen over this period” says Louise.
4 weeks ago Personally Organised turned another important page in its growth and took on the franchise for Netreach, a web development business creating affordable websites for small and medium business. “We had already been offering the services and creating sites for local businesses, while working with a local developer to deliver effective sites that deliver results. We now own the franchise for Netreach Geelong and can now offer experienced marketing managers the use of web designers and search engine specialists, giving them an edge in the attracting and keeping customer attention.”
There are exciting times ahead, not just for Personally Organised but for locals too. With the growth of Personally Organised comes increased employment in Geelong. As we grow as a business we intend to employ more local Geelong people. Utilizing the skill sets of the local area and ensuring that we are a business that gives back to Geelong.
