10 Tips to get Organised

1. Add some colour and start colour coordinate necessities. Have a little fun. Organisation doesn’t have to be boring.

2. Label your baskets, boxes, bins and shelves clearly so you don't have to dig through each one to assess the contents. Labels also help other family members know where things are actually meant to be.

3. Store it. An office, workspace or kitchen can quickly become clutter free by using inexpensive storage boxes.

4. Keep realistic goals. Don’t set too many and don’t make them too difficult to where they become unreachable. Start with small and easy tasks and work your way up.

5. Start thinking about Christmas gift buying mid-year, it makes last minute Christmas gift shopping a thing of the past and make sure you have a budget and stick to it.

6. Still on Christmas … try sending Christmas cards early. Have them ready to post by late November.

7. Lists, lists, lists and more lists. Having a daily or monthly organising list will keep you on the right path and help set up a routine.

8. Keep a Calendar and update it regularly for work and home. Give yourself due dates. Organise them in due date order.

9. Organise for your carpets to be cleaned after the children go back to school not before school holidays.
